The NHL awards are tonight in Las Vegas, on CBC at 8 PM. Here's the list of all of the candidates, and who I hope will/derserves to win. Bear in mind that these awards are voted on at the end of the regular season, and do not include the POs.

Hart Trophy

NHL MVP

Nominees: Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh Penguins), Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay Lightning), Lundqvist (New York Rangers).

Why are you surprised? RNH was better offensively but Landeskog has a better all-around game at the moment.

I feel if RNH had played the entire season, he likely would have won - which is a shame, as he may have been largely dismissed due to his injury. He had the same number of points in significantly fewer games.

Well...I'd say that at the moment RNH is significantly better offensively but at the moment Landy is better defensively and physically.
