kinot-1
In the two previous lockouts, Canada won in 1995 with a perfect 7-0 record and outscored the opposition 49-22. In 2005, Canada went 6-0 and enjoyed a 41-7 advantage in goals scored to goals against. Can this team keep up Canada's lockout trend?

MkGee
I'm guessing nugeee will be the captain with nathan on his wing. That could be a deadly combo.

I would think that they would choose a player that has been there before,,,maybe RNH, or another.
powerplay2009
I'm almost hoping they solve the lockout after the WJCs because training camps would decimate the Canadian roster. If they are as close to a deal as some people say they are, the season would start around the same time as the WJCs. Would give the Finns, the Czechs, and the Swiss a huge (maybe needed?) boost. FirstStar
I'm so starved for hockey that I'll get up early in the morning to watch the WJC. We also have a good line up this season. Much better than the last few years and Subban may end up being the star tender Team Canada's been missing since Carey. I would think that they would choose a player that has been there before,,,maybe RNH, or another. Agreed, they usually choose a vet (so to speak) someone who's no stranger to the WJC to wear the "C". Jbaker8787
I shouldn't be concerned about this in 2012 but its refreshing to hear that team Canada and the USA are chartering a plane together and aren't dealing with any commercial flights overseas. This was a small concern/curiosity to me after hearing horror stories of the travel systems over there and the tragedies that have taken place. And I heard this on 690 from Pierre McGuire if anyone was wondering

Can't wait to see who's been chosen to represent Canada this year. Like i posted in another thread, it's become an xmas tradition in our house.
