Let's get this baby moving B) . Using my trusty Tea-leaves, I see MT making a difficult decision, with regards to who plays and who watches. It seemed to me as though everything was working for Our Habs on Tues., (except for Whites indiscretions) , so do you tinker with a winning line-up, or leave it as is? I think Eller should play, but then, who goes? My Tea-leaves don't tell me that. :(

Time to try a different type of tea. Have you considered Long Island Iced Tea? That might tell you who goes if Eller plays. If that doesn't work, try another Long Island Iced Tea. If that doesn't work, try another....

I actually really fear the Caps finally decided to play, its going to be an interesting matchup

Especially considering Ribeiro will probably light it up and kill us, like so many ex-Habs seem to do.

Just seeing what the Washington Post has to say about the game tonight. When the page came up,,,it showed a picture of all of the banners hanging in the rafters of the Verizon Center, there are 11. Among them "Regular season EC champions (2),,,Southeast division champions (6 of them),,,,Presidents trophy,),,,,and others I can't read.

Some of those other banners are:

"Pre-Season EC Champions"

"Voted Most Likely to Choke in the Big One"

"Stanley Cup Hopefuls 2010, 2011, 2012...."

"Largest Number of Highlight Reel Goals by a Losing Team"

From a comment I just read (concerning tonights game), in reference to Beyonce's singing the national anthem at the inaugural.

"Will the anthem-singer be lip-syncing?"

Probably, and the anthem will likely be some hip-hop gangsta bling version with the lyrics changed.

There's a lot going against us tonight.

We're on the road.

Caps will be hungry for their first win (0-2).

OV hasn't scored yet.

We haven't beat the Caps in our last 6 meetings.

With all that said,,,,,,we can do it.

I came here to pretty much post similar thoughts. Caps have had our number for a while and there are few that hate being kept off the scoresheet more than Oveckin.

It's a question of which Team we'll see tonight: the one that soiled the ice on Saturday v. the Leafs or the one that cleaned up against the Panthers.

3 hours and 6o minutes will tell the tale.

GO HABS GO!

Excited for this game...I hope the Habs can show up like they did against Florida and not leave us all wondering where that team went.

Ok,,,how's this then.

We're overdue vs the Caps.

We're coming off a strong game.

Price is red hot.

The Caps suck.

This is going to be an interesting game.

We all know the caps have the fire power, but they have gotten off to a poor start. Habs lost one and won one, so they're at 50%.

Be interesting to see who comes out of the gate flying and who leaves with a "W".

I'm hoping our habs have found some confidence after last game.

Caps are looking for their first win of the season, they will be battling hard.
