NHL.com. Washington defenseman John Erskine will face a disciplinary hearing for an elbow to the head of Philadelphia's Wayne Simonds. The incident occured at 18:14 of the first period and no penalty was called. Simonds left at that point and did not return.

I was watching that game and IMO, it was an accidental elbow,,,,but an elbow no less.

One game should do it.

I think Shannahan is going to have a look at the last game. The Leafs player biting Pacioretty(IIRC-only saw highlights) and also an honorable mention to the Leafs player who took a run at Pleky only to have him dodge. Would have been a hit to the head, and probably would have injured him.

Grabovski hearing over biting allegation now is Monday,,,according to USA Today.

Sunday, NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan agreed to look into the case. But Grabovski's hearing, originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon, was moved back to Monday morning.

I wonder if Patches will be invited to voice his opinion? #thewayitshouldwork

"According to the League it could not be determined whether or not Grabovski actually bit Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty." TSN

Convicted killers have died from less evidence.
