Larry-Launstein-Jr
I just got word that a movie about Gordie Howe is going to premiere on Hallmark Channel May 4. This is the second movie made about an NHL player - Maurice Richard was the first, as we all know. But this one sounds just as exciting, and I may want to watch it. Even though he wasn't a Hab, he was hugely influential in the development of the game, and I will never forget meeting and talking to him. http://www.freep.com/article/20130214/SPORTS05/130214006/-Mr-Hockey-movie-premieres-on-Hallmark-Channel-on-May-4?odyssey=mod|nextstory

roy_133
Do you happen to know when in April? April 12th, trailer: It looks like it documents some of his time in Montreal playing with the Royals so that should appeal to quite a few here. HabsRuleForever
Thanks Roy! It even has Harry Ford in it, one of my all-time favourite actors. Looking forward to the Gordie Howe movie also.
roy_133
May sound like a stupid question but do we even get the Hallmark Channel in Canada?
