kinot-1
I just read these 2 headlines,,,and wondered,,,,"how is it that these people know that he didn't murder her". Were they there? Are they witnesses? It seems that just because you feel you know the person, or are related to him, doesn't mean he didn't do it. CANADIENS27
Pistorius would be facing 25 years in prison if convicted. Another note, South Africa has an extremely bad reputation for violence. ESPN's Outside The lines reported only Colombia has a higher rate for deaths by firearms. CANADIENS27
Pistorius has been granted bail on the grounds the magistrate thinks he is not a flight risk, doesn't have a propensity to violence, and doesn't believe there will be public outrage. Trial is set for June 4.
CANADIENS27
South African judge Bert Bam has eased bail restrictions and ruled yesterday Pistorius could travel overseas to compete which would allow him to compete at the world championship in Moscow. Pistorius must still travel under certain conditions - provide an iternary of his travel plans at least one week before he is due to leave and hand over his travel documents to the court within 24 hours of his returning home. His passport will be held by a court while he is in South Africa.
