We're at the halfway point of the season. Thus far, the team has played well above expectations, and while it's been a while since we've had players have a legitimate crack at some of the major awards, there are a few who might end up being worthy of consideration. We want to know whether you believe any of the above will be a finalist for their respective award come season's end. You may select multiple answers.

I love our rookies, but don't think they have enough to win them the calder.

If the habs continue the way they have, MT has an honest shot at the Adams.

He took a rag-tag bunch who finished 28th overall and brough them to the top of the east. He at the very least deserves to be considered.

Price, not his year, a little too inconsistent. I honestly believe he'll win it eventually, he only just entering his prime.

Like Price, i don't think Subban will win the norris this season, but I do believe he'll win it in the future.

Pleks is always over-looked, so unfortunately, no chance for him either.

Price's consistency hasn't been a big issue for me, he's probably been very good in a vast majority of his games but he's gotten blown up in a handful of games, Toronto and Pittsburgh mainly, without those 2 games he's a big time candidate for a Vezina nomination. Those awards tend to over focus on wins so if the team plays well and he gets his SV% over .920 he has a chance for a nomination but it's unlikely probably right now.

Therrien IMO has the best chance, the voters love taking a bad team and turning them around in that award.

1st off,,,who is this "We" you speak of? :P

Anywho,,,I picked Pk,,,M.T.,,and Carey.

Pk, because "if" he continues to be consistant (racking up points), logging big mins., he should get a nod.

M.T., because he has taken a 15th place team last year to (as of right now) the conference lead.

Carey,,and outside chance, because, except for a couple of hiccups, is in the game every night, although there are a few goalies ahead of him in GAA, and SV%.

I picked everybody but Plekanec, who is quickly becoming the most underrated player in the NHL if he isn't already.

I really think they could all be finalists. Carey needs to work on his consistency of course, and I don't think either of the kids will win the Calder. But in this shortened season with Karlsson out and Doughty playing a little under his capability, I think PK has a legitimate shot at the Norris.

Therrien took a team from worst to (so far) first. That's got to be worth at least a nod.

Price may get a nomination if he improves his Sv% stat, one thing that may help him if Carey win's the "win" category for goalies. Therrien on the other hand if he can keep the habs 1st in the East might get a nomination for the Jack Adam's award. Other then that seems unlikely any other hab win's a throphy.

They all have a shot as a finalist. Pleks will get overlooked again. A handful of rookies are ahead of Galchenyuk, so unless he picks it up, I doubt he'll get much consideration. Same with Price. If he continues, Gallagher will likely make a push. I f the other great D men keep under performing or stay injured and Subban keeps it up, he'll be in the talks for sure. MT likely has the biggest chance out of everybody for the reasons mentioned above.

I picked MT, Subban, and Gallagher.

If price doesnt get at least a nomination that is a crime. Therrien may be up for Jack adams seeing as we challenged for 1st place in our conference or were in 1st place for our conference for a good chunk of the short season with a mostly the same team as last years 15th place team.

I see galchenyuk getting the calder more so than gallagher because of the hype, but he does have to compete with Conacher Yakupov Huberdeau etc.

Overall Price has been good. Those blow outs don't help his stats, but he's still top of the list in wins.

He's still young, his inconsistency doesn't bother me either, but it matters when talking about the vezina. He's a young goalie just entering his prime, if he's playing like this in his mid 20's, he's going to be solid at 27-30. I don't think anyone should be concerned with Price, we tend to forget that he's still very young. He's been here since he was a teen, we can't forget he hasn't even hit his prime yet(his best years are still to come). So if he's playing this well for a young tender, he'll only be better once he hits his prime in a few years.

Nominated

MT should unless the team collapses in the 2nd half . But I suspect Quenneville in Chicago gets the honor

Gallagher would have to keep up the pace since they I think they usually give ROY to the guy with the most points

PK would have to go on tear in the 2nd half. Like ROY I think they usually give it to the guy with the most points.

And Pk isn't the most popular guy ..

I said Gallagher, if he keeps rolling and has some hot stretches he could at least get nominated. (And he's been getting increasing attention around the league).

If we don't fall off too much, MT is probably a shoe in for at least a nomination. If we finish in first, strong possibility he wins.

I like this

CRB is right. Markov for the Masterton is a real possibility.

Out of the potential poll answers I selected only Therrien. Based on the performances of Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Plekanec, and Price I don't really see them winning any awards. It would be nice to see Tomas nominated for the Selke though. He deserves to get a nomination, IMO. I wanted to pick P.K. to receive a nomination for the Norris, but I don't expect him to receive one. That big oaf Chara will probably win again.
