Forever_Habs10
Important game to keep some distance between us and the pack. agree TSN: "Newly acquired forward Matt Kassian, who was traded to the Senators from the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2014, won't dress for tonight's contest." Guest habs1952
If it wasn't for the hawks, MT would be top candidate for the Jack Adams. Joel Quennville hasn't taken his team from the bottom of the league to the top without any superstars.
FirstStar
I agree, but they did get off to a 28 (did they ever hit 30?) point streak to start the season. Quennville deserves a serious look, if the hawks start to tank now that their point streak is over and the habs continue to impress, then MT should be a shoe-in. The experts are all impressed with Quennville, but have MT as a runner up. I'd give it to MT, but that might be a tad biased since I'm a habs fan. kinot-1
Just some interesting factoids. The Sens have allowed two or fewer against in five of their last six games and have only one win to show for it.Montreal has won three in a row and is on an 11-1-3 tear since Feb. 12. habs-24
Important game. So far this month Ottawa have suffered losses to Philadelphia, Toronto, New York, and Boston. With all the injuries they have we need to continue punishing them, as they won't be so easy to defeat if they get some bodies back later in the season. Separating ourselves from the rest of the division should be highly important. They always give us hell no matter what the situation

Forever_Habs10
The Habs are having their radio Telethon during tonights game, with players wives and Alumni. Not sure what the charity is tho. The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation is pleased to host the fourth edition of its Radio-Telethon on Wednesday March 13 in partnership with rights holders TSN RADIO 690, 98.5 FM and RDS. Presented in collaboration with Activis, Bell, Desjardins and La Presse, the event aims at supporting the efforts of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation to provide a brighter and healthier future for children in need, and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among Quebec youth. From 4 p.m. on, studio hosts from RDS and both radio stations will be inviting the listeners to make a pledge to the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation and support this worthy cause. Members of the Montreal Canadiens family, including team owner Geoff Molson, general manager Marc Bergevin and Radio-Telethon spokesperson Guy Lafleur will be on hand during various radio shows on TSN Radio 690 and 98.5 FM. RDS and both radio stations will be on location to conduct live interviews. Meanwhile, Alumni members Gilbert Delorme, Pierre Bouchard, Yvon Lambert, Patrick Poulin, Mathieu Darche as well as player’s spouses and comedian François Morency will be working the phones to receive pledges from the general public until the end of the hockey game between the Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators. “The Foundation and the Canadiens’ family at large are very grateful for the tremendous support, the generosity and the overall expertise provided by the Canadiens rights holders TSN Radio 690, 98.5 FM and RDS in making this annual event a resounding success, said Geoff Molson, President and CEO of the Montreal Canadiens. We hope that all listeners and fans will tune in and be generous to help us improve on the results of last year’s Radio-Telethon.”
