we lost big time on that deal

Still makes me sick to think about it. Now we have MB and he's been pretty good with his moves.

Last season with the CBA and players reluctant to sign, his hands were tied. Can't wait to see what he does this summer.

Rangers fans are probably just as mad about us getting Prust. For this year at least.

They are, not happy at all. Some fans are saying the team was better with Prust and without Nash. I have a feeling Torts is losing the team. Can't only call out your players so many times before they get fed up.

Beaulieu sporting Laps old number.

It's the same old story: it takes value to get value. The Rangers gave up quantity to get quality. Problem is, their system and vaunted depth was not enough to support the loss of the players they had to concede.

CBC announcer's seem to be pronouncing Beaulieu's name properly.

I wouldn't have known it was an issue if it wasn't for CRB's post somewhere earlier. :D

What CBC chanel is carrying the game? I have RDS on with CBC in the Maritimes carrying the laffs nation wide they said.

Kind of reminds me of TB putting their stock in Lecavalier, St. Louis, and Richards. They were top-heavy, which can work, but which really gives you a short window period and little margin to deal with injuries or slumps. Nowadays, your drafting really has to be top-notch in order to fit in cheap younger players under the cap.

A quality young core on ELCs and bridge contracts is pretty much a prerequisite to win the cup post-lockout, unless you're Detroit of old. Or so it's seemed.

Do NOT like Therrien leaving out Bouillon-Beaulieu against the Richards line, even in the offensive zone. We're at home, that matchup should not be happening.

Found that odd as well after sheltering Tinordi so much. But he doesn't control the dmen, that's his assist.
