Carolina, is only four points behind division-leading Winnipeg - with three games in hand Carolina is in a tight battle for one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes need more solid efforts in net from Justin Peters with Dan Ellis and Cam Ward nursing injuries. Peters turned aside 34 shots Saturday after getting beat four times in each of his previous three starts. We can sweep them with a win tonight We are very good,,,,,them, not so much. We're hot,,and they're not. We all know about how we are doing. Here's how they are doing. In their last 10, they are 3-6-1 Eric Staal has 16Gs and 22A, while Semin has 10G and 24A, Tlusty has 14G and 9A. Justin Peters should get the call, with Ellis and Ward nursing injuies. peters has 3W and 4 losses, with a 2.86 GAA and a SV% of .911. kinot-1's GDT record, 4-1-

habs_93
This would be the third season sweep so far this year. First the Panthers (first ever), then the Rangers (first season sweep since 2002-03). No better time than the present.

BigTed3
No expected line-up changes tonight, so Beaulieu gets another look. Price back in nets.
Innis_Mor
GOTCHA APRIL FOOLS EVERYONE You did, too. Actually, I thought we were getting rather cocky -- an easy win, a game not even deserving a GDT. Better April Fool's attempt than Dredger's (TSN): Prust traded to Leafs for Colton Orr and a third round pick. Yeah, right! Come on!
Innis_Mor
No expected line-up changes tonight, so Beaulieu gets another look. Price back in nets. Price likely as well in Philly on Wednesday. I'd personally like to see Budaj Thursday, at home, against Jets. He deserves the home game. And best off to stay away from any goaltender playing back-to-backs, especially with a flight in between. Habs do not need Price to get injured right now / ever. You can see part of why Halak got traded, and not Price. Price is a big body that can take punishment. NYR's Nash jumps into him on Saturday, and Price gets up like it was a feather that came through.

Forever_Habs10
Carey's start tonight will be the 300th career NHL start for Price, who is coming off a 3-0 shutout win over the New York Rangers on Saturday. Price has a 17-6-4 record this season and ranks 15th in the NHL in goals-against average (2.28) and 24th in save percentage (.915).
Forever_Habs10
Rene Bourque (concussion) and Ryan White (ankle) skated with Canadiens strength and conditioning coach Pierre Allard before joining their teammates for Monday’s morning skate. Players not taking part in the optional skate were Price, Tomas Plekanec, Max Pacioretty, Michael Ryder, Lars Eller, Travis Moen and Francis Bouillon. Meanwhile, P.K. Subban has been named the NHL’s second star for the month of March behind Sidney Crosby. Subban led all NHL defencemen with 18 points (7-11-18) in 14 games and collected points in nine of 14 games in March. Subban leads all NHL defencemen with 10 goals and ranks third in points with 27 in 28 games.
