LAST 10,
HABS ARE 4-6-0
DEVILS ARE 2-7-1

Big story: Since clinching a Stanley Cup Playoff berth on April 11, the Canadiens have gone 1-4-0 while allowing 25 goals, with Price yielding 19 of those goals. Montreal's game with the Devils will be its first of three on the road to close the 2012-13 regular season. The Canadiens still are playing to earn home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The fourth-place Habs have three games remaining and lead fifth-place Toronto by four points.

New Jersey was officially was eliminated from playoff contention Sunday following a 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers.

Getting off to better starts likely will be part of the focus. They've fallen behind by at least two goals in the first period in each of their last four defeats, including giving up two goals on the Capitals' first three shots Sunday. The Habs have dropped four of five after falling 5-1 to Washington on Sunday.
Carey Price, who has won both of Montreal's matchups with New Jersey this season, has a 5.45 goals-against average over his last five appearances. Price is 4-1-0 with a 1.61 GAA in his last five starts in N.J.

-Head coach Michel Therrien confirmed that forward Colby Armstrong will be back in Tuesday night’s lineup to take on the Devils and that Travis Moen will be a healthy scratch for the evening.

From canadiens.com

Message being sent to Travis perhaps???

Or is it just a case of resting players??

“Colby is ready to play and we’re very happy to have him back in our lineup. I met with Travis this morning to explain my decision to him. In his case, we’d like to see a bit more intensity from him on the ice and the next time he’s back in the lineup, I’m sure that’s what we’ll get from him,” underlined Therrien

Seems to answer your question.

I'd have to think the boys will be rested and re-focused tonight, playing on the road with fewer distractions and facing a weaker team. Tonight's game will be a test of focus and willpower and nothing more. If they treat this like a must-win, which it is for confidence purposes, then they should be able to get the job done. I think the Plekanec line and the DD line will both have good games, and it'll be up to the D to step their games up.

Woah, weird. As soon as I read that, Travis Moen just walked in on an episode on Corner Gas... With the Stanley Cup.

Crazy coincidence... especially since I barely ever watch Corner Gas.

MUST BE A SIGN THAT WERE ARE WINNING IT ALL THIS YEAR :D:D :D :D:D

Sounds good to me. :P
