This is the hardest category by far. I'd bring 5 or 6 and put one or two on the wing.

If I have to pick just 4: Crosby, Stamkos, Toews, Bergeron.

I would bring Tavares and stick him on the wing. I think Stamkos could snipe from the wing as well if necessary (which would allow someone like Getzlaf to center a line as well).

For me three spots are a given: Crosby, Stamkos and Bergeron. Crosby is arguably the best player in the league, Stamkos is the top scorer year after year. Bergeron might not seem like a lock when compared to some of those other stars on the list, but you need to have guys who can play different roles on a team that's going to be full of star power to begin with. For my money Bergeron is probably the league's elite "role player".

After that, though, arguments could be made for anyone. It's kind of a hard question to answer, too, since as others have mentioned there's a pretty good chance that we take more than four of these guys and just convert a few over to the wing. As far as this poll goes, I went with Thorton. Mostly just because I like the guy, but also because he's been playing well and because I think he's got the game style and the proper head space to be another role player on a third or fourth line. Toews would have been my fifth choice, if I had one, for much the same reasons.

More than 4 of these guys will make it with some playing on the wing. Stamkos will likely be a winger. Team Canada is very loyal, Getzlaf, Bergeron and Toews will all likely be there Crosby and Stamkos are locks and a couple other names from that list wouldn't surprise me. I'd actually be surprised if they took less than 6-7 centers.

If it's just 4 centers it's Crosby-Stamkos-Toews-Bergeron, but Getzlaf, and Staal should be there on the wings. I also think Tavares will be on the team but on the wing. Who knows, maybe they'd put Stamkos on Tavares' wing?

For me, I'd like (in no particular order), Sid, Toews, Getzlaf and Staal.

Stamkos we can put him on wing, he a sniper not a play maker. If Lemieux can play wing on the Gretz line, i don't see why Stamkos can play wing on a sid or Toews line.

I like having getzlaf's big body down the middle.

Bergeron is a good FO guy, wouldn't be a bad idea having him centering one of our lines either.

My choices: Crosby, Bergeron, Tavares, Toews

I took the same 4 guys... 3 best all-around centers and the top defensive/face-off guy. I did feel it was a tough call to leave out Logan Couture though. I think he'll be a stalwart in the league for a while. Steven Stamkos will obviously get a lot of votes and hype, but to me, he's a sniper and not necessarily the guy I'd build the middle of the ice around.
