kinot-1
Hearing that Ryan Malone is on the trade block comes as no surprise; theTampa Bay Lightning need the extra cap room and would obviously rather deal the 33-year-old winger than use a compliance buyout. However, Elliotte Friedman of the CBC reports Lightning GM Steve Yzerman may be offering other clubs extra incentive to take Malone of his payroll. ColRouleBleu
Tampa to buy out Vinny. Let the rumours begin. Well, a free agent that you can get at reasonable cost and rumors about trading for a player with an albatross of a contract arent totally the same thing

ozweeg0
I'm guessing he signs for $4-5 mill/season on a 1-2 year deal. Reasonable for him I think. ***Gerr, forgot my old log in info. Starting from scratch again.

FirstStar
Hopefully it's nothing serious as he's had another great start to the season. No kidding, Stamkos started slow, but has been on fire since his hat trick. T-Bay is top of our division(big difference from last season in the basement), tied with our habs with 8 points, they were 4th in the east before the habs win last night against the jets. T-Bay were in 3rd place in our division before our last win. Hope St Louis has a quick return, stamkos needs marty to feed him the puck.

CANADIENS27
NHL.com. St. Louis is still questionable for tonight's game despite the fact X-rays have been negative for a fracture.
FirstStar
Good news that no fractures or breaks were found. A bruised bone can be just as painful though and if there's a lot of swelling, he may have troubles putting on his skate.

powerplay2009
NHL.com says he will be out indefinitely. a quick search of le google on broken tibias tells me it will be between 4 and 6 months most likely. Maybe he can come back in 3 because he's an athlete, but his prospects for Team Canada are pretty slim, not to mention the Lightning this season. I doubt they get home ice now. powerplay2009
Wouldn't it depend on where the break is? Yeah, but most everything I found said 4-6 months more or less regardless of where the break is. I'm no doctor, and it was only a 5 minute search, so I could very well be wrong. That's the sense I got though.
