He has been put on waiver, per TSN. No surprise.

Not surprised at all, I knew he wouldn't suit up for the Habs this season. I just couldn't see it happening. He didn't travel with the team to Cali and if he's not claimed off waivers, he will report to the Bulldogs.

Our team just got less good looking haha

,He will help a lot down in Hamilton. Especially if we want to have Beaulieu and Tinordi up at the same time at some point.

Haha agreed. He's not my cup of tea though, far too pretty for my liking :P. But I do believe the team is pretty darn good looking as a whole compared to most teams.

I agree completely. That's the move I'm waiting for, Tinordi and Beaulieu in the lineup at the same time. Not this ridiculous one or the other.

I really Like him, I think he adds a lot to the team

Do you think the Bulldogs will need him?

What exactly do you like about him?

And honestly no I don't, but it's always good for the kids to learn a thing or two from someone with experience. I mean he doesn't have a whole lot, but enough.

Yes I do.Down there right now, they have Beaulieu, Pateryn, Ellis, Deitz as their top 4. The rest of the D are tryouts, echl callups and fill in guys. Drewiske will ad depth to the blueline. While he hasnt accomplished much in the NHL, he will probably play well in the AHL like he has before. If MB ever plans on having NB and JT up at the same time, they DEFINITELY ned Drewiske if they want to stay afloat in the playoff race.

Davis was a forgotten player before this pre-season, but he may just be the perfect fit as the Habs #7 d-man to start the season. And it would not be undeserved for him to make the cut with the Habs IMO... he could be a diamond in the rough even at age 29. At 6'2" 219 lbs. he would definitely be a better bet than Francis Bouillon. And the price tag makes that decision even easier. Both Tinordi and Pateryn undeniably contend but may be better off as the defacto #1 pairing in Hamilton.

He's been placed on waivers to go to Hamilton along with Dumont.
