Sorry for the false news. The site that said it was wrong. I should only listen to credible sources from now on. But I guess it seemed like that because we signed Mayer and Condon and the organization seems to value Mayer over him(I don't know why).

But thankfully, we've Signed him to a 1 year two way contract. I wonder why it took so long. He's the last RFA, we have no unsigned players anymore.

I agree his numbers are pretty good, but I disagree on starting him tomorrow, that's a bit extreme. Budaj can handle this and besides, Therrien already said Buds will be playing back-to-back games.

He's having a great season with the dogs.

I sincerely hope he gets the nod tomorrow against Pittsburgh, he certainly deserves it!

Yeah, if he's up for a bit it would be nice to give him a game or 2 but I dont think id be throwing the Pens at him in his first game as a hab ;)

Agreed. The Pens would be too much for him. Way too much pressure, but then again he could be really motivated to play really good if he knows he's playing against Crosby and Malkin. But still, I'm not willing to risk it.

The kid played a decent game last night despite the bad bounce goal. Shootout was a concern but pretty much expected. Great memory for him beating the best in the NHL. Now that it's in the books and my own nerves have calmed down, i'll be more then happy to see Price back in the lineup.

I'd rate him much better than decent. I'm really glad he got that break in the shootout, he deserved it after that flukey goal off the glass.

I wouldn't be upset to see Tokarski start but I'd be surprised if they didn't go with Budaj tonight against the Bruins. Budaj's been good for us all year (particularly against the Bruins) and even last game you couldn't really fault him for the second goal and the first was one of those stupid flukey things that isn't going to happen again.

Kinda wish he would've gotten one more game. Oh well.

And now he will! I kind of feel like he's auditioning for a role as Carey's back-up next season. It might be a three-way battle between him, Dubnyk, and Budaj at this point, but I think the Habs might be willing to give him first crack, as he'll be a cheaper option than Budaj.

Small sample size. AND he's not signed for next season. He's a RFA, but there's no guarantee Montreal bring him back.

I would be surprised if they didn't at least extend him on a little raise over his current price, though. Unless we have another goalie in the works, which, to my knowledge, we don't.

It's also possible he wants to move on to another opportunity and the organization allows him to. I'm not sure I'd want to keep playing in Hamilton,
