I'd like to add I'm very interested in the WJC that are suppose to be here in 2014-15.

So as soon as anyone has any info on tickets for the WJ's in Montreal, please feel free to post.

Thank you.

There was a pre-registration period earlier this summer but it ended July 8. The site to watch is : http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/Team-Canada/Men/Junior/2015

I'm looking into doing the Kings-Ducks-Coyotes-Sharks trip this season. Hopefully it works out, we've never been to CA.

Does Colorado usually sell out their arena? I am thinking about trying to get tickets there Nov 2nd I think it is when Montreal plays out there.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something. I suggest you monitor the Av's website , they'll start to sell individual games tix sometime in September but they have not specified the exact date yet.

Or you could try Stub Hub, they already have many tickets listed for that game, all over the arena and at a wide range of prices (very cheap compared to the Bell Centre)

Heck ,,, they could charge $10 per ticket and probably sell out.

A very worthwhile cause as well. Good to see the Habs being involved :)

Anybody know the prices from last year? Would like to check the price hike again this season, as usual..

i have no idea, with the shortened season I didn't go this past year.

I usually like to go at least once a season, I'm curious to see how much they are this season.

My feeling is that individual tickets haven't gone up too too much, maybe a couple of bucks a seat, but that adds up if you're planning on going to multiple games or bringing your family, etc. When I looked over the prices this season, what caught my eye was the extreme mark-up on premium games: for example, a Red A seat goes form $168 to $270, a Desjardins A from $214 to $347, a white from $82 to $128, and so on. I think it's always been a fair mark-up, but it just seems like the premium games have gone up a bit more than usual this year relative to the other games. A full quarter of the games are premium games, so average ticket price is probably about 10-15% higher than the cost of an average game. At the end of the day, I still haven't forgotten that Bettman has put the league through multiple lockouts and that the fans have not seen a single penny of the money that was supposedly saved. I'll still go to games if I come across tickets for free, but I'm going into year two of refusing to pay for seats and I don't have any plans to change my mind and start forking over money to the league.

Ouch, desjardins tickets are up to $347, those are the tickets I like to get.

What's your opinion.... if you had a choice, would you take section 305BB or 327 CC( where the habs shoot 2x)?

I'd personally take 305BB. I think we'd all prefer the end where the Habs shoot twice, but the angle of viewing the play will probably give you an all-around better experience if you're in the corner as opposed to directly behind the net. I find it's a bit harder to read the play from the end of the rink, but the viewing lines are great from both sections, so I don't think either one is a terrible choice.

This. Plus in 305BB you wont have to watch the game through the protective netting

I'm supposed to be flying in from the east coast for my first couple of games superbowl weekend with a bunch of friends, vs tampa and winnipeg. Got in the waiting room as soon as it opened, was hoping for prestige tickets but instead got red section for Winnipeg, and by the time my turn came for tampa all that was left was blue section, I wouldn't even buy that. checking stubhub and ebay isn't filling me with a lot of hope for getting a decent ticket at a reasonable price. I don't know what I'm gonna do now, but just disappointed with how this whole process is handled.

The process is just fine, they dont have much choice than to go with a lottery type of system considering the high demand. Of course it's always disappointing to not be able to get the tickets you wish for but it's not because of the process itself. I couldn't get what I wanted either for the Home Opener so I went somewhere else to get them.

Try TicketCity, they're as reliable but a bit cheaper than StubHub

My god, Rogers arena is so freakin' expensive. I can get two at Bell Centre for the same price as I paid for one at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver is usually more expensive than Montreal (or east coast), but surprised their tickets for the nucks are that much.

Now I have a better understanding as to why they rioted after losing the cup to the b's.
