2013-14 Scoreboard Watching

Watching Ott-Edm... Ottawa's commentators may be just as big homers as the Bruins' guys. Everything Edmonton does well is lucky, everything Ottawa gets called for is a garbage call from the refs, etc. If you want to be a fan, be a fan. One of the least objective jobs I've seen by any commentating crews...

Also saw Gryba took out Taylor Hall with a knee injury. Didn't see the actual play, heard it may have been accidental, but it's kind of hard to give such a dirty player the benefit of the doubt.

Phoenix goalie, Mike Smith scores an empty netter with 1 second left on the clock in their game against Detroit.

Doesn't he know, he's a goaltender :o:D

I'm not impressed with the Metropolitan division so far. Right now it's looking like Pittsburgh and the Islanders, plus whoever gets the most loser points in third. I don't think the Rangers are quite this bad (though they're definitely not good), and I'm still not 100% sold on the Islanders unless they upgrade in net/on the blueline. But there's an awful lot of bad teams in that division.

Yeah, the Atlantic has the worst team in the league in Buffalo and another loser in Florida but other then that the rest are all teams that are competitive and have solid chances of making the playoffs.

I think for next year we should give them Boston and take like Columbus. Won't happen, I know. But it would work well for the regional thing cause Boston is closer to them anyways and Columbus is close to Ontario. And it would even out the divisions quite a bit.

Believe me, I'd love to play Boston less, but I doubt it'll ever happen.
