- The Canadiens skated in Brossard on Monday morning in preparation for a much-anticipated pre-season tilt against the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre.

- Tonight will be the first career meeting between brothers Malcolm and P.K. Subban at the NHL level.

- In goal for the Habs will be Carey Price and Robert Mayer.

- The Canadiens will dress forwards Travis Moen, Gabriel Dumont, Michael Blunden, Daniel Brière, David Desharnais, Ryan White, Christian Thomas, Max Pacioretty, Louis Leblanc, Nick Tarnasky, Charles Hudon, and Stefan Fournier.

- On defense, the projected lineup is composed of Douglas Murray, Jarred Tinordi, Josh Gorges, Francis Bouillon, P.K. Subban and Darren Dietz.

- Tinordi did not skate at the morning practice and was replaced by Magnus Nygren, but he will indeed play tonight.

Lines at practice:

Pacioretty – Desharnais – Briere

Moen – White – Leblanc

Hudon – Dumont - Thomas

Tarnasky – Fournier - Blunden

Gorges – Subban

Bouillon – Murray

Dietz - Nygren

Here's to hoping the Forum's a little more cooperative tonight than it was for yesterday's game. I had an awful time getting on towards the end of the game.

Tough finish last night but I suppose it's all for training camp purposes. If a loss in the preseason means anything, the Penguins must be panicking.

This.

I'm not too concerned about preseason results, it's more about the team gelling and building up a chemistry, as well as giving the young ones a bit of experience. I'm curious to see how Briere and Murray fit in to the team, as well as seeing what the young lads bring to the table, in particular Thomas (really hope we didn't get the raw end of that deal).
