FirstStar
preds aren't playing good hockey right now, but they still have a lot of good players. Hope the habs don't take them lightly Saturday night. They almost lost to CBJ last night and they were without gabs and Horton.

I think if we would have lost last night that we would likely lose tomorrow too. However we found a way to win & I think we'll keep it going. Flying_Lion
Great start to the GDT, Tessin. Hats off. I'm looking forward to this one but I'll miss it entirely except for smart phone notifications. Not a complaint, just a statement of fact. Going to take in some Art after a 7a to 7p shift on Saturday. Nocturne in Halifax. Best of the weekend to you all. Here's to hoping We can adjust the Number. Go Habs Go! habby4ever
If the boys don't lose focus and take the preds lightly, they should win. Price has lost both of his starts against Nashville with a 2.50 GAA. He wasn't in net the last time the teams met Nov. 12, 2011, when Pacioretty scored in overtime to give Montreal a 2-1 victory. So, I think, that the habs won't take them lightly, and I also think they should win. Also, nice GDT Tessin

They haven't won in Calgary in years and took them lightly, especially without kipper, cammy, Iggy or bouwmeester.
ColRouleBleu
Meh... the western conference is nice and all but I cant wait to see games against our usual foes. And before anyone points out that Columbus are in the East now, I'll say that they dont count (yet) in the usual foes category
kinot-1
Thanks for the GDT, Tessin. Hope it brings us luck tonight. Our troops are getting thinner, but, we should put this one away.
habby4ever
Habs are notorious for taking lower placed teams lightly. They haven't won in Calgary in years and took them lightly, especially without kipper, cammy, Iggy or bouwmeester. Keys to Victory: 1) Break the Trap: For what the Nashville Predators lack in offensive scoring threats, they make up for with a sound defensive system guaranteed to slow the pace of the game. Montreal will need to use their speed to move through the neutral zone and get behind Nashville’s defence. It’s the type of game that will benefit the likes of Galchenyuk, Desharnais, and Briere. With Briere on the hot seat in Montreal, this may be as good a game as any to finally make his mark. 2) Avoid the Box: The Canadiens were guilty of taking too many penalties against the Blue Jackets on Thursday. After building up a 3-0 lead by the second period, two powerplay goals by Columbus allowed them to tie it up. To Montreal’s credit, they did manage two shorthanded goals, though Plekanec’s was into an empty net. 3) Increase the Gal(l)ys’ TOI: With Pacioretty out of the lineup, the team is counting on Alex Galchenyuk and Brendan Gallagher to contribute. While Therrien has been consistent in limiting their ice time, it might be time to see what they’re capable of with a few more minutes. Prust played the most of the Habs’ forwards on Thursday (18:12) and had a solid game with an assist and a plus-3 rating. While a chunk of those minutes were played on the penalty kill (3:39), it would be interesting to see how Galchenyuk and Gallagher would fare given the opportunity. Unfortunately Center Ice in the states picked up the Predators feed... These guys are bad. I'm actually more hopeful for this one then the Columbus one. Nashville has good defense but can't score. We're usually good against teams like that.
ClassicHabsFan
Or Glenn Healy. Pierre McGuire is also not one of my favorites either. He may be well thought of in parts of Montreal and Quebec but his attitude between the benches on NBC is deplorable.
