Remember when Tyler Myers was a good defenceman? Me neither. He had an intensely lucky rookie year, won the Calder, and has done nothing of significance since. As far as I can tell from a few years of watching him play, his talents consist purely of being tall and not getting called for interference and holding, ever, despite being completely incapable of throwing a hit without doing one or both.

That was one of the most boring periods of hockey I've ever seen.
