habby4ever
bleu-blanc-rouge Here are the Canadiens - les Glorieux versus the Lightning Here’s how we can expect to see the Habs lineup Pacioretty – Desharnais – Gallagher Bourvival– Plekanec- Gionta Bourque-Eller-Prust Moen-Briere-Parros Gorges– Subban Markov-Emelin Beaulieu-Murray Price .921 Sv% 2.44 GAA Budaj .926 Sv% 1.97 GAA Rapid Fire Habs Site: The Canadiens recalled forward Christian Thomas from the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs. He should join the team for practice in Brossard on Friday morning. In 23 games with the Bulldogs in 2013-14, Thomas has racked up nine assists and 14 points. Probable Scratches: Drewiske, Galchenyuk, White, Diaz, Bouillon Here’s how we can expect to see the Lightning lineup Palat-Johnson-St Louis Killorn-Filppula-Purcell Kucherov-Thompson-Brown Malone-Crombeen-Aulie Hedman-Salo Carle-Gudas Barberio-Brewer Bishop .932 Sv% 2.01 GAA Lindback 8.80 Sv% 3.23 GAA Probable Scratches: Stamkos, Lee, Ohlund Whats Up Ah, the joys of being a Canadiens fan: All that history, all those Stanley Cup banners, all the opportunities to hop on and off a bandwagon that may or may not start on these cold Montreal mornings. Thursday, “The team wanted to play a good game for Peter,” Therrien said, which is what the wily ol’ coach doubtless had in mind when he named Budaj as his starter – two days after Carey Price posted a brilliant, 36-save shutout against Carolina. And with the W in the bag, the Canadiens begin what appears to shapes up as an advantageous schedule: Beginning Saturday afternoon, they play four straight home games against Tampa Bay, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver before traveling to Carolina just before the Olympic break. But , first we face the Lightning: Versus the Lightning this season, we have 1 win, 0 losses, 1 OT , we have been outshot 69-50, 3 goals for, 3 goals against, lose faceoff battle 57-67. Carey Price in the games had a Sv% of .971 and GAA of 2. Each team won 2-1 in Shootouts. Game winning goals ELLER and FILPPULA. Bon Match!!!! "Game Day Lineups Available when released." kinot-1
You'r GDT Rocks, habby. From the Habs site today. "Brandon Prust did not take part in Friday’s on-ice session. He is suffering from flu-like symptoms. - Ryan White practiced alongside his teammates for the first time since sustaining an upper-body injury on Jan. 2 in Dallas. He was sporting a white jersey, indicating that he has likely been cleared for contact. - Christian Thomas took part in practice after being called up from the Hamilton Bulldogs on Thursday afternoon. He skated alongside Rene Bourque and Lars Eller. Lines and D pairings at practice: Bournival – Plekanec – Gionta Pacioretty – Desharnais - Gallagher Bourque – Eller - Thomas Parros – Moen – Briere White Subban – Gorges Emelin – Markov Murray – Beaulieu Diaz – Bouillon"

Flying_Lion
I suppose you could consider this a 4-point game. We're currently 4 points back of TB so with a regulation win, that gap could be closed to 2 and we'd be closer to getting out of the wild card spot. The Lightning've been surprisingly good even without Stamkos so it's imperative to take advantage of the opportunities we have while he's still out. So glad I don't have to wait all day for this game.
kinot-1
Seems the Bolts aren't sure who will be in goal tonight, as from what I've heard, Bishop will be a game time decision. They have called up 2 goalies tho. I would like to see Thomas play and see how he does against his dad who is an assistant coach with the Bolts. kinot-1
Tweets from Bob McKenzie: "With Bishop/Lindback injured, Cedrick Desjardins expected to start today for TB vs. MTL. But if Kristers Gudlevskis gets in, take note: The 21 year-old Latvian may be the only goalie to play games in ECHL (FLA), AHL (SYR), NHL (TB) and Olympics (LAT) in the same season." RicochetII
Thanks for the nice thread. Little bigger font on your "tests"? Will be interested to see if Thomas slots in and has a good game, or ends up playing two shifts before getting benched and sent back down.
