Guest mrsmarkov
Not surprised at all that JSG is in net, it's only fitting. He deserves to play more, it will be nice to see him play especially at home considering that he's probably going to retire after this season. In my opinion, he should just wait and see what kind of offers he gets in the summer, I'm sure there will be teams interested. Stastny is returning to the lineup tonight for the Avs since missing four games due to a back injury. Really Paul? You couldn't wait until the next game to play. Damn . The lineups from the Sabres game will continued to be used tonight for the Habs. I'm usually against Therrien juggling the lines, but I'm actually really impressed. He did well....for once. The lines somehow work...I know I definitely never would have thought of them..well done MT...NOW DON'T MESS IT UP! I'm glad Frankie Boo gets to play tonight. He has earned it and I'm glad to see that. I've always loved watching him play in his prime and I'm happy to see him contribute. It's definitely helped his confidence and he seems really happy, so good for him. Yay, no Bourqey and Murray AGAIN!!! .

Guest
Hoping Carey's last start shook off some of that rust. He did look stronger as the game progressed.
HabsRuleForever
Hoping Carey's last start shook off some of that rust. He did look stronger as the game progressed. Especially on the last Sens breakaway. Great GDT beaubie. I see it's St. Patricks Day again.

Guest mrsmarkov
I personally would have put Buds in net considering that he played his entire career with the Avs.
southernhabfan
So..we have an ex-Montreal goalie now behind the enemy's bench (lol) and a Montreal native in the net for the enemy...can't get any better than this...go Habs!!!
southernhabfan
I personally would have put Buds in net considering that he played his entire career with the Avs. MT might have a short leash on Carey tonight and put Buds in if things go bad for Price

ColRouleBleu
I personally would have put Buds in net considering that he played his entire career with the Avs. he already had his start when we played in Denver earlier this season. We're in Montreal now, the team needs points , there is no other decision to make than have Carey start that game

I know! It's going to be scary, but exciting. MT might have a short leash on Carey tonight and put Buds in if things go bad for Price Doubt it, but I'd rather not have that be an option. I hope Carey does great. he already had his start when we played in Denver earlier this season. We're in Montreal now, the team needs points , there is no other decision to make than have Carey start that game Good point, but both goalies are capable of stealing points. I still have faith in Buds, I don't blame him at all for the California road trip.
Guest mrsmarkov
what did the lines look like at practice today? The lines should stay the same as those used against the Sabres.
jedimaas
5-1 Habs. Book it. The lines should stay the same as those used against the Sabres. IMHO unless we hit a bad streak (or, knock on wood, injuries) I could actually see MT sticking with those lines for a while (maybe swapping Gio & Gallagher again) as it seems like a nice balance of our top 9. vegasrick
5-1 Habs. Book it. You really think so? I think it's more likely that if the score is actually 5-1, it won't be the Habs winning the game.

Wow,,5-1 huh? They have 5, 20 goal scorers and we have 2. Hmmmm It would be nice if either Emelin or PK welcomed McKinnon to Habs country
southernhabfan
This ought to be a very good game, hopefully for us, and I think it's getting that time that we need the two points for sure. Just saying
