Just surprising that the league would ignore this incident, despite what's happened in the past. For these reasons:

- Lucic had motive

- Lucic was dumb enough to talk about how he wanted to go after Emelin

- Lucic speared Emelin (automatic match penalty)

- Lucic clearly made contact

- The contact was to the groin, was from behind, and caused injury

Really shocked the league just washed its hands of it. Hard to say this has nothing to do with Bettman, Campbell, and Jacobs being friends.
