OF IT ALL

This is the fourth and final game of an extremely tight series between these Atlantic Division rivals.

All three previous games needed at least overtime – and two went to a shootout – with the Tampa Bay Lightning holding a 2-0-1 series edge.

Montreal and Tampa Bay are all but guaranteed to meet in the first round of the playoffs.
The only thing to be determined over the final two weeks of the regular season is
which team will hold home-ice advantage in the best-of-seven series.
While Therrien begged off any extra consideration for the Lightning,
Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper admitted it was an important game.
"It's hard not to put emphasis on the game because we're, what, two points behind them?," Cooper told the team website. "I don't know how things are going to play out in the end here, but beating them would sure be a nice rallying point for out team. … A four-point game? That's what that one is."
Alexei Emelin had left the team to return to Montreal for family reasons. Emelin is expected to rejoin the team in Tampa on Tuesday and be ready to face the Lightning.
Tomas Plekanec, who missed Saturday’s game against the Florida Panthers for family reasons, was back on the ice Monday morning in Florida as the Canadiens practised in preparation for Tuesday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Habs PP is t 18.2%, Bolts PP is at 18.3%
Habs PK is at 85.9%, Bolts PK is at 80.3%
Habs Road record is at 22-14-2, While the Bolts home record is at 21-8-6
Last 10GP Habs 8-2-0, While the Bolts last 10GP is 7-1-2
Habs have 9 players with 10 goals or more. Bolts have 8.
Carey, 2.36 GAA, and a SV% of .925, will be in net for the Habs.
Bishop, with a 2.18 GAA, and a .926 SV% should get the call for the Bolts
Who's hot: Canadiens leading scorer Max Pacioretty has four goals and an assist over a three-game point streak. …
Lightning center Valtteri Filppula has 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) over a 12-game point streak.
Injury report: Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec is back in the lineup after missing the game Friday for undisclosed reasons. Forward Travis Moen (concussion), forward Dale Weise (hand), forward Louis Leblanc (flu) and defenseman Josh Gorges (hand) are day-to-day. Forward Brandon Prust (upper body) is out for the season.
Tampa Bay reports no injuries.
Here’s how the lines and defence pairings looked at practice:
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Vanek
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gallagher
Eller-Briere-Gionta
Bourque-White-Bournival
Parros
Markov-Weaver
Bouillon-Subban
Murray-Tinordi
Price, Budaj

haha. good one Kinot.

It should be a good game. This is the first time we've seen the bolts without St. Louis and I think that bodes well for our squad. Even though Stamkos is arguably one of the the best goal scorers on the planet, and they have some excellent players like Hedman, Filpulla etc I think we should be able to handle them tonight - and in a 7 game series.

I'm glad I fooled some of the members :P ,,, same as what happened last year on April 1st. ,,,,, you guys are too easy :P

Carey Price has won four consecutive starts and is 9-1-0 with a 2.11 GAA in his last 10. He is 7-2-2 with a 2.02 GAA in his past 11 appearances against the Lightning.
Steven Stamkos, who has nine goals and four assists over the last 10 games, has just four points in his last nine versus Montreal. Tampa Bay is 15-2-2 this season when he records at least one point.
The lines at Tuesday’s morning skate were the same as during Monday’s practice.

OK, kinot, that was just plain mean. All that wasted time going back to nhl.com to check the REAL schedule.

But hey.....it'll still be April Fool's all day. I'll get my revenge! :P

Meanwhile, it's time the Habs beat the screws....er, bolts.....and it's Montreal that's the hot team at the moment.

Too bad about Prust being gone for the season.

Probably be another tight game.....but I sure would like to see a real blowout for once. Either way, I think Price rises to the occasion and plays lights-out tonight.

Hopeful score: Habs 5, Bolts 1

More likely score: Habs 2, Bolts 1 in a shootout

Your zebras for tonight: Brian Pochmara and Chris Lee and no, this is not and April 1st joke

Chris Lee? Right.....he's not an April Fool's joke, he's just a joke.

I think the "realistic" prediction just became more realistic. Definitely no Habs blowout tonight. They'll be reeling from all the dubious penalties. We'll probably be lucky just to make it to overtime.

just watch, everyone is expecting a goalie battle (myself included) but we'll see a truckload of goals

You didn't have to take the wind out of our sails so soon CRB. You "could've" waited 'til game time.

no no! i just wanted everyone to be ready!

pre-emptive strike, no use to whine about bad/non calls tonight, the just KNOW there will be plenty.... so now that this is out of the way, Go! Habs! Go! :D
