RicochetII
Make sure those cups are solid and strapped on tight boys. Officiating will likely prove to be ... interesting. Personally, I would say Price all the way, but my brother posited the intriguing possibility of starting Budaj in Boston, due to his success there. My answer was, starting Budaj would take a serious set of ... guts, so I don't see it happening. His response was ... Therrien, to which I have no rebuttal. Either way, the anticipation is killing me. Go Habs Go!
Guest
I doubt we see Budaj barring sickness, injury or Price getting pulled.. I don't think any head coach would be suicidal enough to start a backup with a healthy #1 like Price on the team. The big question mark in this series will be which team can maintain composure and not let a Marchant or Gally get under their skin. I like our chances if we can get any kind of neutral reffing. Eyez
yep atleast 5 more days of no Habs hockey. Apparently the teams will be notified in the next 48hrs on the game 1 date... I was thinking it would be Saturday (& it still could be) , but Thursday or Friday is a good day to beat the Booins too , so its all good GO HABS GO ! kinot-1
I'm hoping for a Thursday start. I would miss next Friday unfortunately. Thurs. in boston would mean a Sat./Sun afternoon game. Of course NBC will dictate the dates.
HabsRuleForever
I'm hoping for a Thursday start. I would miss next Friday unfortunately. I would miss next Friday too(birthday) so Thursday & not Saturday afternoon but evening or Sunday would work for me. I have a bad feeling the schedule will favor NBC so I'll probably miss one game. On another note I hate everything there is about the Bruins. I would love nothing more than too wipe the ice with those apes(sorry actual apes). ColRouleBleu
Just bought my tix for game 2 in Beantown whenever it will be. It's only a 5 hours drive from here so any of Saturday or Sunday would work just fine.
Kindred
I really wish the Redwings could have dragged it out to game 7 and maybe put some hurt on the Bruins. If anything tire them out. I hate Boston. I check the papers everyday to see if any of the players have been struck down by disease or an accident. I want to say the habs will win this soudly but I expect this will be a tough match. My heart says habs in 6 but my brain says bruins in 5. kinot-1
"The earliest the series would begin in Boston would be on Thursday. The latest would be Saturday. TD Garden will host Northeastern University's commencement ceremony on Friday." So, it's either Thurs or Sat.

Either way, the anticipation is killing me. Go Habs Go! I want Budaj in net..and considering how unpredictable Therrien can be, though he's been good lately..well I can totally see him having the guts to put him in. But then again......he only has the guts to make dumb decisions...so forget about that. I doubt we see Budaj barring sickness, injury or Price getting pulled.. I don't think any head coach would be suicidal enough to start a backup with a healthy #1 like Price on the team. I don't think it's suicidal at all. Budaj has proven himself. He would jump at the chance and would love it. Ya, ya sure Price is great...but if we want to win, so lets be realistic. We have a much better chance if Buds plays the first two games and Price the other two. Habs in 4! Are you saying we need another broom? Oh my friend, you're so optimistic. I think it will take seven games...it's only fitting. I really wish the Redwings could have dragged it out to game 7 and maybe put some hurt on the Bruins. If anything tire them out. I hate Boston. kinot-1
Coach Michel Therrien made one change to his lines Sunday, putting Travis Moen on the fourth line with Daniel Briere and Dale Weise, while Michael Bournival dropped to the fifth line. Here’s how the Canadiens’ lines and defence pairings looked at practice Sunday: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Vanek Prust-Plekanec-Gallagher Bourque-Eller-Gionta Moen-Briere-Weise Bournival-White-Parros Gorges-Subban Markov-Emelin Bouillon-Weaver Tinordi-Murray

I figured Moen would draw in on the 4th line. I'm just relieved to see Murray hasn't been penciled in.
