Wow. Just wow. I called the Habs to win in 7, but in the middle of the series, it was easy to see that slipping away with the way Therrien went back to Douglas Murray and Travis Moen. It was obvious we would be better playing the likes of Bournival, Beaulieu, Briere, etc. than our slow guys, but I didn't know if we would have enough time in the series to make up for the games we threw away in the middle. Credit to the boys for playing Games 6 and 7 with great energy and hustle and to Michel Therrien for eventually getting it right with his line-up. It wasn't perfect, in particular with the clearings today from veteran guys like Plekanec and Gorges falling short. But they had enough when it mattered. The stars tonight were guys like Bournival, Weise, Prust, Gallagher, Desharnais, Weaver... working class players who put together strong games for us at the right time.

My 3 Stars:

1. Price

2. Prust

3. Gallagher

As much as I'm stoked to see the last of the Bruins, to move on to the next round, let's hear it for the real accomplishment - the one everyone enjoys, regardless of loyalty - ...

No more Rene Rancourt!

Great job, Team. Even if we don't hoist the Cup, you've done the public a service.

This team has to be feeling pretty confident after disposing of the president trophy winners.

So, does Julien get fired or is there a shake up on the ice?

shake up. I expect Marcant to be be on the block. Hassn;t scored a playoff goal in how many games now? 17?

Woo hoooooooooo I'm so happy right now.

I've been having such a stressful and down time lately that this is a little slice if light for me.

Same for me, beaubie. Hope that things will get better for you

Hey Chara you like golf because you sure looked like you were ready today.

Chara looked like a man who was beaten and had given up. I mentioned during the last game he had the same look (when Patches scored) it was the same look Boudreau had when the Habs knocked out the Caps and the same look Ovie had when he couldnt score on Halak. The man who has spent all his energy and comes up short
