Whew.....Lucic....it's almost like they have just keep going lower and lower to outdo each other's classless dirt. Hopefully, this win by Montreal tonight sparks the beginning of the end of their short-lived "dynasty" of brutality.

Anyway, say it loud, say it proud....

I'M JUST GLAD BOSTON LOST!!!!!

i hate to throw a wet towel on the issue but i hoped we learned there are 3 zones and you have to play through the middle one, not just ice the puck.

i'm not worried about our PP so much but the rangers actually have some smarts, a good goalie, and a certain amount of leadership. it won't be a cake walk. to my mind

As a post-series note… Wow, is anyone else super glad Boston traded Tyler Seguin? I don't think we come close to winning this series if they have him.

Maybe. It was a bad trade for Boston, but Eriksson was part of Boston's most effective line this entire series, so they'd be losing production there too.

This is so great!!!!!!

I am so happy I dont think I could be any happier if we won the cup!

In a way, beat the booins to me is like winning the cup!

I assume we've all heard what Lucic allegedly said to Weise and Emelin in the handshake line?

Absolutely disgusting if its true.

Last I heard, those are grounds for criminal charges in both countries by threatening injury or death.

What was said exactly?

Here's a good one about lucy.

"Two months before Milan Lucic reportedly threatened to kill Montreal Canadiens’ Dale Weise while shaking hands after the series-ending Game 7, the Boston tough guy was pitching an anti-bullying book."

Kinda hypocritical if you ask me. <_<

I think we iced the puck a lot more than usual because of the Bruins' physical game - but they are probably the best in the league at that so I highly doubt we'll be hemmed in for quite so long/hard against the Rags.

From the twitterverse re lucy and Weise exchange:

Lucic:"Yo dude, what movie do you recommend to me?" Weise:"Happy Gilmore. You'll like it."
Lucic: "We're gonna beat you guys in game 8"
Before Lucic in handshake line, who knew there was a less classy Bruin than Marchand?
If Milan Lucic was making threats in the post-series handshake line, he needs to step into the headshake line.
Sooo, #Lucic just wrote a book on bullying in school...nothing about the ice in it I bet
My favorite pic, cry baby Lucic can't watch PK in the eye
