2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs - Final

Recommended Posts

Not only are Kings the first team to win three Game 7's prior to the finals, but this will be the first meeting in the final round of one of the four major sports between teams from New York and Los Angles since the Yankees and Dodgers in the 1981 World Series.

I live in Illinois which houses Chicago though Chicago i more like a little island on Lake MIchigan. Its impersonal, uncaring and unfeeling to my mind so to choose sides in a contest between New York and Los Angelos would be foolhardy for me.

I therefore appeal to all the pilots out there who are also Habs fans to choose and I will let democracy rule. I had an uncle who was a pilot and although I've been up in a traffic helicopter I've never had as much conversation about my trip as my uncle garnered from his license even after having retired from flying for 25 years previous.

So who are you cheering for? The Rangers who beat us or do you want the Kings to destroy them? Do you care?

Rangers! They may have beaten us, but we allowed them to.

It's time for a classy underdog to win. I will be able to deal with this disappointment as long as they win. If LA wins...well I'll be sick to my stomach.

I have a hard time classifying any team with Chris Kreider on it as "classy". :P

Though I hate him, I wont classify the entire team as classless just because they have a goon. He will get his karma eventually. Hopefully the other goon, Brown will break his legs tonight :)

I ordered a new tv service to be installed on Monday but with Sarge I had to cancel. It leaves me with no tv until Thursday. Enjoy the game.

More likely than not its for the best for me to wait until next year when the boys can help me out with Peppy (Penny). Funny how cable providers don't carry Center Ice.

Never mind Dorsett, Carcillo, and Pouliot. Sure the Kings have Brown, Richards, and Carter, but they also have Kopitar and Doughty, two of my favorite non-habs. I wish Chicago won. They're my second favorite team.

I never thought I'd say it, but I actually like Dustin Brown tonight.

I didn't just read that.

That's like me saying I like Kreider. Ew even the sound of that sounds sinful.

I'd probably hate Dustin Brown more if he had intentionally hurt a critical Hab. :P When this series is over, I can comfortably go back to hating him for his knee-on-knee on Hertl (among other things). For now, he's a beautiful human. Urgh.
