Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. The Kings are so far giving this one away. The Rangers don't even need to be on the ice to take the lead at this point. They're completely inconsequential.

Sutter's still Sutter, however, so the Kings are far from out of this one.

Kreider did his best to avoid Quick there...if only he tried that hard for Price .

He was obviously told that if he did it again, he'd get justifiably skewered for it. But apparently you're allowed to take out one goalie.

Apparently after price was run into, the message was sent to stay away from the tenders.

They supposedly reminded both teams before the cup finals.

A lot of good it did the Habs.

Sutter is the best tactical game-managing coach in the NHL, maybe in a decade or more. And the Kings are perhaps the most well-rounded team constructed in the salary cap era. If anyone can overcome a 2-goal deficit in the last 20 minutes, it's them.

He couldn't do anything in Calgary.

Just goes to show, it's not just the coach or just the players.

It's about finding the right coach for that bunch of players.

Yeah, it's hard for me to feel warm and fuzzy about the NHL remembering that it supposely wants to enforce its rules and protect goalies after the Habs had what could be their only chance in the next decade or more to compete for a Cup stolen by a dirty player who knew exactly what he was doing, and went completely unpunished for it.

Conspiracy!!!!!!!

Nothing like watching the Swedish Fish flop around after giving up a goal.

Who asked you? :P

Oh I know, there was a huge increase in goaltender interference calls ever since. I don't care though, a little too late for us.........

Only one wearing the CH allowed for any team, any player to interfere with.

You tell him Henrik!

Exactly, and they're in the cup finals.

Habs offseason game plan... Get a big body who can take out opposing players.

If that's what the league wants. Seems to be ok to do. Sarcasm.

Won the canes a cup and got the rags to the cup finals.

Although, canes were worse. Took out a player in every series. Koivu in round 1, maybe nothing in round 2, but a saber was lab outing in the ECF and they took out roli (similar play to Price's) in the cup finals.

And the kings score!!!!! :)

You're being sarcastic, but it's not far off from reality in today's NHL.

Yep. It was particularly unfortunate living in North Carolina for it. I'll dislike Justin Williams for a long, long time.

Yup only Habs fan rooting for the Rangers. If only the Kings didn't win the cup so recently and if I didn't hate Quick so much.

Wow Britney Spears really let herself go....
