maddienmike
Glad he is still here still one of the smartest guys in the league,I don't care how many lists he didn't get on,he is still one of the best and with all the youngsters trying for the team will be a great mentor for them,an intangible that you will see the benefit of in a couple of years. GO MARKY GO :D
jedimaas
If the way MB built our d-corps over the summer is any indication, we should see a full year of Pk-Markov as our top pairing. If that happens, I think Markov is going to have a career year to be honest. He may have lost a (slight) step but playing #2 next to one of the top 5 dmen in the league should be enough to overcome that slow down.

I'm not sure if this is a given Jedi... the plan could be to balance out size and talent... i.e. - Emelin-Subban; Markov-Gilbert for example. With Weaver signed and Bouillon on a tryout, the third pairing is still not a certainty for the likes of Beaulieu, Tinordi or Pateryn just yet. ColRouleBleu
A staring contest duel between Markov and Emelin. Not sure but I think Markie won this one
BeanCountingHab
It'll be interesting to see if he lines up with Subban or Gilbert. It's pretty much a give in he won't be playing with Emelin at least not to start the year.

Well to start camp, it's Markov and Gilbert on one team and Emelin and Subban on the other... that could well change though, so probably still too early to tell. Markov may lose a step here and there but his vision is still sound. He can still find those openings and make a clean pass with ease.

fnveenie
Quietly played an excellent game tonight. Great passing, jumping into the play when appropriate and solid in the D zone. Our best defenseman in this game.

ColRouleBleu
Congrats on finally getting your 100th career goal. I would have preferred to watch it happen in person but it being the GWG in Boston and the first PP goal of the season on the road is a quite acceptable alternative
ramcharger440
Yep same number of goals as savard and the only other d man other that the big 3 to make 100 goals on much less talented teams until recently
