habs_93
no, because young players do the warm-up when they're scratched and he didn't Ah, I didn't know that. They must be trying to keep the rest of the team healthy, then.

ramcharger440
might be why he has seemed a bit flat in the last couple of games
PuckPundit
His absence from the rest of this series is going to hurt the team .
PuckPundit
The team badly missing his play at this crucial juncture, particularly his offensive play and joining the rush.

BigTed3
Hoping he makes it back for the second round. Me too. Although I'd consider sitting Emelin if he's back. Beaulieu probably has at least 3-4 days before we play again, so hopefully that's enough.

kinot-1
i think he adds a fair amount to our breakout. we miss him With the rest and the fact that the Habs "may not play" until Fri. (depending on if the Det. series goes 7), then he should be good to go for the next series.

He could just as easily be done for the playoffs if symptoms persist. Is he even skating?

They couldn't say he'll miss round 2 because they didn't know for sure we would advance. I'm not as confident about his return for next round until i hear he's at least skating. Hoping for the best. NewfoundlandHab
If he is back, Id like to see Markov-PK Beaulieu-Petry Gilbert-Pateryn

HabsRuleForever
This really sucks, his size & puck moving abilities will be missed.
BigTed3
That statement basically said "he had a concussion, hasn't yet cleared testing and as such is out at least another week." Really a shame that Karlsson got away with a headshot that almost turned the Round 1 series and may still yet cost us going forward.
roy_133
A few people who cover the team have said it's not a concussion. If he did have a concussion and came back for a little bit and then spent the 3rd period watching on the bench, another major failure by the Habs to protect players from head injuries. BigTed3
any update in weather hell play in game number 5 because ive' herd is hell miss the first four games of this round and there at game #5 now He still wasn't practicing with the team as a regular, at least as of yesterday. No practice today. I would doubt he'll be back. If he is, I'd sit Emelin over Pateryn, although that's extremely unlikely to happen. I also wouldn't mind playing Beaulieu as the 12th forward for his first game back, to give us some leeway on the back end. I don't see a big problem with sitting Weise or DSP or DLR for a game. jennifer_rocket
Hopefully he plays. Another solid pick-mover will only increase our chances of winning tonight's game.
vegasrick
I thought he had a good game, and I was glad to have him back. He actually led the team in takeaways.
fnveenie
Watching Emelin play on the PP while he sits on the bench is a little bit irritating, but it was his first game back after all. Hopefully this changes. I thought he had a good game, but with a couple scary moments in the neutral zone.
