jedimaas
Welcome onboard! If we could somehow motivate him (and Bourque) to play strong game-in, game-out then a line of Bourque-Eller-PAP would be murder to play against.
musicalhab
Well said Jedi. I haven't watched him play much, but his size is already an upgrade over thé tired/ small Gionta.
Parenteau15
I'm really happy that we get PA here. I don't understand why people are already hating on him, but anyway. lol. I'm sure he will play on the 2 first lines and I would LOVE him to be on the 1st pp. Remembers me of the 118pts 2nd year with Chicoutimi. That's when I started to fall in love with this player. lmao. Btw, 2 articles from today on the Journal de Québec websitehttp://www.journaldequebec.com/2014/07/19/je-suis-a-la-bonne-place-au-bon-moment--pierre-alexandre-parenteauhttp://www.journaldequebec.com/2014/07/19/ca-na-jamais-leve-avec-patrick If you need translation, I can do it. Interesting reads, P15. He sure "seems" like he will be a go-getter. P.S. When I clicked on the links, there was a box that asked if I would like it translated. Of course I did. jedimaas
Its looking more and more (barring a trade) like we will start the year with a line of Bourque-Eller-PAP. If those 3 gel, that will be a very hard line to play against and while it may be our de-facto #3 line, should operate much more like a #2. I think we are going to be pleasantly surprised by monsieur Parenteau & his new start in Montreal.

ramcharger440
not sure about him yet, I think he could fit in really well but until I see him play with our players and system it is hard to judge this trade. I do like his size and age over danny though
maddienmike
Not seen him play much know nothing about him,but if he gels with Larry and Bouque and they play like they did in the playoffs, will be as nearly as good as any second line in the league and better than most, can't wait to see him play, being here with his boyhood team should motivet him just like Wiese. GO HABS GO ALL THE WAY
kinot-1
An interesting little factoid from TSN radio. PAP is 45% in shootouts. . Bring on the shootout.

ramcharger440
I do feel he actually gives us a legit first line. with the other guys we have I also feel we have a good second line the other two lines look pretty good as well..... holy...... we seem to have a fairly balanced team! I feel pretty good about our team this year.

I feel pretty good about our team this year. IIRC, that's what we said last year (I know I did) , even tho Briere, and Bourque didn't pan out the way we had hoped, we still did pretty good. MergenTatara
Except during shootouts, he's looking less and less impressive as matches roll along . I had higher expectations from the Briere trade. Now it seems the only upside was age. Hope MB trades him for a better winger when the transfer market opens. ramcharger440
He is at the level I expected, still an upgrade on Briere younger and bigger and faster than I thought too.
fnveenie
Meh... He isn't terrible. He is good temporary filler for our gaping hole on RW.
habsisme
Meh... He isn't terrible. He is good temporary filler for our gaping hole on RW. Habberwacky
I think that may have been the worst game for him. He seemed out of step last night and struggled with the puck. Hopefully only one way to go from here.
Semantics
One game later .... I think that may have been the best game for him. He seemed lock-step last night and really had the puck. Hopefully he can keep that up from here.
MergenTatara
Just SHOOT the puck! It made cringe to watch him try to take it deep into the boards and get bundled onto the ground by the opposition.

Guest habs1952
Back in action! Shootout wins are now possible again ! I'd rather he contribute in regulation time so we don't need to go to a shootout.
