I guess they think that their playoff problems are caused by the fact that Thornton just doesn't lead hard enough, you guys. Whoever lead the team before is still going to lead the team, with or without a letter. Translation - resigned or be fired. McLellan won 311 games with the team, but the Sharks could not win consistently in the playoffs including last season after blowing a 3-0 series lead against the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles.
