Larry-Launstein-Jr
I think the Canadiens should induct into their Hall of Fame John McCrae, the person who wrote the poem "In Flanders Fields," where the Canadiens use the line "To you from our failing hands we pass the torch ... Be yours to hold it high! According to one of my friends on the World War 1 Buffs Facebook, McCrae is being inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame. He was a poet, pathologist, and professor. I would love to see the Habs also give him that honor.

PAPPAPUMPED
When it comes to any issue/topic regarding veterans I have no problem what so ever & I agree whole heartedly on this issue. Habs management should adopt this fine Canadian into the ranks of the team why not we use excerpts from his famous poem, let it be said let it be done. My heart aches for all the veterans who gave up their lives for their Nation & it's people. Great idea by the way as John McCrae deserves recognition from the greatest hockey team in the world the Montreal Canadiens.
East_Coast_Juggalo_13
I would have no issue what so ever with them inducting John McCrae into their HOF...It would be one of the many classy things this organization does...
