TO A GAME OF SHINNY

9:00 PM EST. RDS, SNE, CI (maybe, or maybe not), TSN 690 Radio

Colorado seeks its sixth victory in eight games while also trying to deal the visiting Montreal Canadiens a season-worst fourth straight defeat Monday night.

Montreal (16-7-2) had won eight of nine before falling 5-0 to the New York Rangers on Nov. 23. It then dropped a home-and-home set with lowly Buffalo, losing 2-1 on the road Friday and 4-3 in a shootout the next night.

Price made 32 saves in the first meeting with the Avalanche and should be in net for this contest. He's 6-2-0 with a 1.51 goals-against average over his last eight starts after stopping 23 shots Friday.

The Avs have 7 players on IR and 3 more listed as day-to-day.

We have 1 player on IR.

Look for Tanguay and Briere to haunt us. <_<

Look for PAP to (hopefully) haunt the Avs

The Avs back-up Calvin Pickard will get the start in goal for the Avs

Carey gets the start for the Habs.

Does the losing streak continue :( , or does it end :) ? Habs fans will want to tune in to find out, orrrrrrrr not. The suspense continues.

kinot-1's GDT record 5-3-1

In Wisconsin if you would start out and go by wagon train west you would be psychologically ready to be in the mountains. From Illinois where I reside this is certinly NOT the case.

Peppy will most likely end up in Wisconsin, but as for suspense? I certainly know what that's about.

I lived in Wisconsin for 5 years but I dont remember travelling by wagon. Wagon wheels, yes, this I did partake in - as well as cheese and bratworst game I ever saw was the admirals vs. the Devils. Didnt chuck anything on the ice but I think his dad may have in in uniform that night.

We took on a huge job when we became independent and a big part of being independent is falling in love with the land you live on and there's a lot to love about Wisconsin. :P

Habs better come out guns blazing in this one , after blowing TWO shots at BuffaLOW we fans need GOALS ! ....

atm the Habs have scored 65 goals BUT allowed 63 (so much for MB's "defence wins")

#1 in the league atm is Pitts & they have scored 81 goals ! .. & allowed only 55 ( seems offence is winning more atm than defence)

Habs NEED a star sniper .. period ! ( the whole which d-man gets the call tonight is getting old (like "some of the d-men LOL).. I say pack a few of them up, make a trade & get a player that can find the back of the net instead of shooting..... W..........I..........D..........E
