BigTed3
Lots of talk about the Oilers being ready to re-vamp their current roster. Potentially, a deal could be had for a very good young player. While the asking prices for each of these guys will vary, we want to know which one is your first choice as a target in a trade, keeping in mind what you think it would take to acquire that guy. You can post your trade proposals in the comments section of the thread...
kinot-1
Here's my 2 cents. I voted Hall. The players named here have their points on the team as #1 RNH,,,19 PTs,,,,#2 Eberle, 18 PTs. ,,#3 Hall 18 PTs,,,#4,Perron,,15 Pts. ,,,#8 Yakupov, 8 PTs. . "If" Dreger is right in thinking that Hall is uncoachable, then Mc T would want him gone first,,, then Yakupov. The others he would keep. In order to get Hall we would have to give up a proven 1st or 2nd line player, possibly a 3 liner,,,, a young roster player (maybe 2), and/or a prospect. I don't think I would want Yakupov. If we gave up 3 (or 4) roster players to get one back, then we have to replace 2-3 players. Another thing is that team chemistry is very important. Manatee-X
I went with Perron. It's not that I wouldn't like any of the other players - in fact I'd happily take any of them - I just wouldn't be willing to give up what I think it would take to get them here. With the exception of having one centreman too many we don't really have any positions where we have excess talent. I mean I guess we have too many defensemen, but the only ones with any trade value are the ones that I wouldn't be willing to part with. The long and short of it is that it would take several quality players to get any of the first four options in the poll, and I like the current make-up of our team too much to want to throw so much away on one player. That's what I think also. Going for Hall, RNH, Eberle or Yakupov could possibly set us back instead of moving us forward.
Habsology2
I was the only one who voted for Yak. I think he would cost the least amount out of that group. Also, I would love to see him reunited with chucky to see if they can continue the magic from the juniors.

It's not only a buy low opportunity, but if the chemistry with Galchenyuk is real it could be fantastic.
BigTed3
I'll say first off that the guy I'd most like to have off that list is Hall, followed closely by RNH. However, I don't see RNH being moved unless the offer was huge, and I think Hall would draw a lot of interest and a bidding war. Yakupov could be the dark horse in this game, though, and seems to be quite underrated by the Oilers organization. He might be a guy you can sneak out the back door for a bargain and who's still young enough that you can develop him in your own system. We still need one more top 6 winger for offensive production, and he could fit the bill.
