kinot-1
OUR HABS VISIT THE PITTSBURGH 7:00 PM CITY, TVA, ROOT, TSN 690 Radio, AND PROBABLY SOME OTHER PLACES On a roll: The Canadiens have won eight of their last nine games — and four consecutive games on the road — after beating the Devils 4-2 Friday night in New Jersey. Defence has been the key with the Canadiens allowing only 11 goals in those games. With the battle for the top spot in the Eastern Conference heating up, don’t be surprised if coach Michel Therrien deviates from his normal plan and uses goaltender Carey Price in both halves of the back-to-back situation. Max Pacioretty continues to lead the Canadiens in scoring with 29 points after scoring a power-play goal in New Jersey for his 15th goal of the season. He has two goals and five assists in his last eight games. The Canadiens are getting more offence from the fourth line after subbing Michaël Bournival for Manny Malhotra. Bournival scored twice in New Jersey. The other guys: The Penguins are leading the Metropolitan Division despite winning only two of their last six games. After losing four in a row, they have won their last two after beating Tampa Bay 5-3 Friday night. It has been a while since a Penguin hasn’t been near the top in the NHL scoring race. Evgeni Malkin had a goal and an assist Friday night and has 43 points, four back of league leader Jakub Voracek of the Philadelphia Flyers. Sidney Crosby has 41 points after picking up three assists Friday night. Marc-André Fleury has the fifth-best goals-against average at 2.12 and the fifth-best save percentage at .928. Price ranks sixth at .927. Back-to-back with a difference: This is the second half of a back-to-back situation for both clubs, but the Penguins will have a bit of an edge in terms of rest because they were at home to Tampa Bay on Friday, while the Canadiens flew in late after playing in New Jersey. kinot-1's GDT Record, 8-6-

Guest habs1952
Not surprised on either account. Any word on PAP's injury? I missed PAP getting injured last night. I guess channel hopping between the Habs and Juniors will do that. Maybe it's time to hook up 2 TVs to watch 2 games at once.

Guest
I am surprised Price is getting the BTB this time. I half expected he would play both games in our last BTB because of the break before and after the games. This one puzzles me,,,, but then again MT has that effect. BigTed3
Refs tonight are Dave Jackson and Mike Leggo. The graph's from http://scoutingtherefs.com, which is excellent. Leggo is apparently a game-time decision though. He left yesterday's game with food poisoning, so apparently Devorski is on standby in case Leggo can't go again tonight. HabsRuleForever
kinot-1's GDT Record, 8-6-1 Your record is? Well I can say that if we miss another first period this game might be over before the Habs start. If we show up from the first drop of the puck then maybe we win or at least get a point from the flightless birds.
jennifer_rocket
Well, this will be a really tough game. I have a bad feeling.
vegasrick
Your record is? Well, I haven't lost six games, if that's what you're asking. Anyway, I'm just glad Boston lost (in OT).
Habberwacky
Bears have already played more than half their home games and are struggling on the road. It will be sad and I will miss them if we don't meet them in the playoffs, but only for a few seconds and then I'll move on.
