After playing in the All-Star Game on the weekend — followed by some travel problems returning home — and then making 40 saves Tuesday night in a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars at the Bell Centre, Carey Price was given a well-deserved day off Wednesday as the Canadiens practised in Brossard before heading to New York.
Price improved his record to 25-10-2 and now ranks fifth in the NHL in goals-against average (2.15) and fifth in save percentage (. 929).
The Canadiens picked up their 30th win of the season against Dallas, improving to 30-13-3, good for third place in the Atlantic Division, two points behind Detroit (28-11-9) and one point behind Tampa Bay (30-15-4). The Canadiens hold two games in hand on the Red Wings and three games in hand on the Lightning.

Carey faced enough shots last night to more then cover for practice today.

As i mentioned last night,,,,,Rags are coming off a loss and should be in a nasty mood. I have a feeling Price will need to be a wall once again to walk away with points.

Great one kinot...I heard that there will be no keeping of data of shots on goal tonight. :)

I've heard the Habs have a pool regarding how many shots they can give up and still make a game of it. Therrien picked 63!

Not feeling that good about tonight's game. Price has, historically, lost to Lundqvist in NYC. Hopefully the boys find a way!

Hopefully Kreider doesn't crash into him at any point during the game!
