The Montreal Canadiens have raced to the top spot in the Eastern Conference behind stellar performances from their star players, most notably Carey Price. Price has gone 13-1-1 with a 1.31 goals-against average in his last 15 starts. One of them came Feb. 14, when he made 28 saves in Montreal's 2-1 shootout victory over Toronto (25-31-5).
The Toronto Maple Leafs have spent the last two-plus months going in the opposite direction, but they're coming off their first back-to-back wins since December as they face the Canadiens on Saturday night.

Great GDT kinot-1

It doesn't matter who the Laffs dress it will be a tight game with possibly a shootout.

and it shouldn't be  The habs should be steam rolling the Leafs from the first puck drop to the end. By the start of the 3rd period there should be such a lead that MT plays only ther 3rd and 4th liner for the rest of the night.

Tonight:

Habs are leading the East, playing another bottom-feeder that's out of the playoffs.

Habs are at home. Habs have had a day off. Habs are coming off a win.

Clearly, the Leafs are set to win this one. Or should I say, the Habs will lose it IF they do what they usually do. Although, last game was an indication that they may have turned a corner on these lower teams.

Also, I heard a rumor that Gonchar will NOT be out for the game.
