RicochetII
The Chopper line gets grounded. Blackhawk Down! I'm not surprised Mitchell got hurt last night. There were a few times where he was getting roughed up. Might not have anything to do with it, but very well could have.

RicochetII
solid player hope he is not out too long He's on the IR now, unfortunately. This was apparently the cause: https://twitter.com/MarcPDumont/status/667534538155950081/photo/1 Hard to tell from that, but twisted knee or ankle seems at least likely. Even a mild sprain of either could be at least a couple of weeks.
GreekHockeyCoach
Ouch, hope he heals fast, very impressed with him so far. The team definitely needs him back fast. He's quickly become a key player.

Amazing we got him for Jack Nevins and a 7th round pick. Makes our 4th line a lot more sound for sure.

Not only the 4th line. Good faceoff guy and penalty kill. Responsible defensively.
fnveenie
He was on the ice at practice today for "longer than expected". We could really use him back on the 4th line. You could tell the guys were gassed towards the end of the game last night which was probably partially because we weren't rolling all four lines like we did with Mitchell at center. Playing catch-up all game doesn't help either but I think his return will give us a big boost.

BigTed3
Having a solid right-handed center is something that has helped our line-up immensely in the past decade. Most of our top 9 centers have been lefties (Pleks, Koivu, DD, Eller, Galchenyuk, etc.), so it's really been imperative to have a righty on the 4th line who can play dependable defence late in games and win face-offs. We had that with Metropolit and with Halpen, and we missed those two players when they left. Ryan White filled the void briefly but he clearly didn't have the same confidence from his coaches. Mitchell is a reliable player whose given us the bonus of chipping in with offence too, but more importantly, he stabilized that 4th line and allowed us to play them 8-10 minutes without feeling like we were in trouble. Flynn and Byron have had spurts of strong play, but they're not nearly as consistent as Mitchell, and their games aren't as well-rounded.
fnveenie
His absence has really shown how much of a staple he is on the 4th line hasn't it? Last game, DSP and Thomas both played under 6 minutes. That doesn't happen if Mitchell is playing.
