Guest
There's a side view out there somewhere, that they showed during the game, that clearly shows him jumping into the check with both feat off the ice. That's the tape that will get that animal suspended IMO.
habs_93
I would personally give him 10 games for that. Clearly illegal in two or three ways, and given Rinaldo's history it's as good as guaranteed to be intentional. I'm going to bet on 5 from the NHL, though. He needs a much stronger message,, similar to the half season penalty recently handed out. Anything less then 20 is a joke.

habs_93
Here's the one that got him 8... I had forgotten about that, and how bad it was. I'm more in agreement now. Torres got half a season, Rinaldo should get a quarter, 21 games. Anything less than serious double digits is unacceptable.
kinot-1
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a time limit (new season?) or something whereas the offending player has his record wiped clean?

They didn't hold back with Torres so i doubt it. Guys like this have no place in the League. Can't score and can't play defense. His only job is to head hunt. Time to throw this trash out on their butt.

habs_93
Zero games. According to the NHL, it isn't elbowing, interference, an illegal check to the head, or charging. Unreal. Sean Couturier: 46 career NHL goals, 121 points. Zac Rinaldo: 8 career NHL goals, 24 points. And the NHL goes out of its way to protect Zac Rinaldo. habs_93
Joe Colborne had a hit to the head on Dylan Larkin in last night's Flames-Red Wings game. This is suspension-worthy, IMO:

BigTed3
Nazem Kadri with yet another dirty hit in tonight's game against the Coyotes. By my count, that's 4 "hits" he's thrown that could have easily all been suspensions. This guy is no better than the Patrick Kaleta's and Raffi Torres' of the league. He's definitely moved into the top 10 dirtiest players in the league. Hopefully the league actually does something this time, after letting the last three go unpunished. habs_93
I agree about that hit. Kadri's dirtiness has been positively reinforced by the league, and he's getting casual with it. Of course SN probably said nothing about it. To be fair, they don't usually say much during games TSN is broadcasting.
