eldag
Another amazing game tonight ..... I despise the Leafs but have nothing but envy for their talented young forwards ..... they are very fast and skilled with so much dynamic offensive capability. I believe they will prevail against the Caps who are amazingly bad in their own end. Holtby looks very ordinary. Babcock is an outstanding coach ... hard to believe he has got these kids playing so well so soon .... They have a tremendous future to contemplate even if they don't win this year. eldag
It will be interesting to see how the Leafs do this year. They have young talent coming out their ears and Leafs management has done an amazing job putting great talent and great coaching together with a focussed plan. One wonders if some of the youngsters may take a step back in their development as often happens in the early stages. As much as I despise the organization they appear to be doing everything right these days which is a break from their long and unhappy decades just past. I envy Toronto fans for having so much to look forward to this season and for years to come .....

Sigh ..... I wish such might be the case but I have just about given up on seeing les glorieux win another 'Cup. Just too many people happy with the status quo of mediocrity and language politics among the media, management, and even the fans.
H_T_L
No sense any team playing a single game this year. Looks like the Cup has already been awarded to the Leafs. http://www.tsn.ca/video/simmons-why-this-maple-leafs-team-will-win-the-stanley-cup~1206807 Gotta love Leaf Nation.
