kinot-1
Ok,,,,OK,,,Ok. Let's see if I can remember how to do this, . IT'S ,,,,,,,,GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!! (well, preseason, but that still counts, right? ) (Cue, roar of the crowd) Maple Leafs @ Canadiens 7:30 PM TSN4, RDS, and Radio 690. TONIGHT,,, THE BABCOCK COACHED LAFFERS VISIT THE BELL CENTER TO TAKE ON OUR HABS. Here's the rules for pre-seaon games regarding veterans: The official verbiage in the CBA: 15.4 Exhibition Games. © A Club shall be permitted to dress a minimum of eight (8) veterans for any Exhibition Game. For purposes of this Section 15.4©, a veteran shall constitute either: (1) a forward or defenseman who played in thirty (30) NHL Games during the previous season, (2) a goaltender who either dressed in fifty (50) or more NHL Games or played in thirty (30) or more NHL Games in the previous season, (3) a first round draft choice from the most recent year's Entry Draft, or (4) any Player who has played one-hundred (100) or more career NHL Games. Now that that's out of the way, let's get on with it. A 5 minute sudden death, 3 on 3 will be played tonight, regardless of the score, so don't leave your seats if the score is not tied. Max is injured, and DD, and Semin have day-to-day injuries. Expect some fierce competition from the prospects, and recent acquisitions. The line-ups will be up tomorrow,,,, sometime. The Laffs are playing in Ottawa tonight (last night), so they will have had 1 pre-season game under their belts, by the time they roll into the Bell. kinot-1
YAY a GDT!!! Thanks kinot. YW, HRF. Gotta get back in the groove Renaud Lavoie is reporting that Carey will be in goal. "Andrighetto-Plekanec-Gallagher Emelin-Petry and depth guys/AHLers per Marc Denis on twitter" But that makes only 5 regular Habs players, we need 3 more. RyderRocks73
Kind of disappointed we don't get a look at Semin tonight. But perhaps they would have reserved him with the rest of the rest-em-up-regulars crew.
