The voracity of the French media is legendary, but at this point who cares? Nobody outside their bubble takes them seriously. If someone on the team got let go or not renewed because of media pressure, will they really lose sleep worrying about what the rest of the hockey world would think of their situation? I doubt it. Clown them, and let them stew in their feedback loop of self-reinforced rage over their irrelevance. Maybe you'll have to weather a few weeks of bluster, but it'll speak well of your will and resolve.

A team can't end up in Québec fast enough. Let them deal with this farce and leave us to winning for a change.

Molson's policy to change. Until he finds the backbone to stand up to the guys who will likely lead a boycott of his products it's unlikely to change anytime soon.

Our best bet would have been to have that Anglo option on the farm ready to step in and show he can handle the job competently, unlike when they threw RC in there for the media to beat up on.

Well the French media will eventually have to get over it..especially if they go another 20 years without a Cup

Yep. It's truly a pity. Molson is a good guy who clearly cares about the team and doing things properly. Hard not to trust him, IMO.

It's not THEIR policy though. It's what they want obviously, but it's Molson who ultimately calls the shot.

We faced another hot goalie. We outplayed them. Same old song and dance. BUT! For all of you saying we need to fire Therrien, stop and think for a second. It is never the coach who wins or loses games. The players are the ones who are losing and not finishing on their chances. Therrien contributes by not utilizing players properly, but the players are ultimately responsible for this massive (and now embarrassing) slump.

I am not even excited to watch them play now...this really is pathetic.

Well this will be my last game until after Christmas..I have to head up to Yankeeville (IL) on Monday for a week so will not be bale to watch the games on Mon-Tues. Y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happier time without me!

Enjoy yourself(s), shf, and drive/fly carefully.
