I wonder why everybody doesn't, but especially Bergevin. Doesn't matter how well you build a roster if they aren't being used correctly.

Therrien has chased away many of Bergevin's acquisitions... Briere, PAP, Vanek, Sekac, Semin, and so on. He's getting far less than he should be from Galchenyuk and Eller by not playing them enough. He's slowed down the development of players like Beaulieu, Tinordi, and Pateryn by his insistence on using Murray, Bouillon, and Emelin over them. He's invested more in 4th line grinders than he has in young skill players, who have been placed on the 4th line and then criticized for not scoring after playing 7 minutes of ice time with the likes of Flynn. Yeah, I like Carr's combativity but does he's the guy Therrien likes the most because he "plays hard." That doesn't diminish the speed and skill of guys like Hudon and Andrighetto though. It doesn't mean you don't bother giving McCarron a real look. The holes to fill right now are in the top 6. Carr and Byron and Flynn and Weise are not the answers there. Hudon and Andrighetto and Semin and McCarron and Kassian might not be either, but the chances they are better are considerably higher than by continuing to plug grinders into those spots. The grinders are working hard, they're getting shots, but they lack the ability to finish those plays, hence the outlandish lack of goals in the past month and change.

Good thing the company in here was good, otherwise i'd be a half hour into a good sleep by now.

Misery loves company.

Meanwhile nobody reaches their potential, and good years of players who have go to waste.

------

My Three Stars:

1. Therrien (1st star for Nashville)

2. Cotender Cotarski (because they deserve some credit for trying despite no goal support)

3. Andrighetto (for being more likely to score than some players even when he isn't in the game)

Peace for now Buddies! :D

How much will it take for MB to fire his friend Therrien? It's more likely MB would be losing his job with MT because Molson probably isn't blinded by friendship and I don't want to see that. Hopefully Berg will open his eyes and make the tough decision. I was wondering who could replace Therrien? That might be a good idea for a new thread. Why not fire Therrien and let Ramsay take over for the remainder of the season?

You said it in the rumours thread, and I can't agree with it more: imagine where Galchenyuk's development and point totals could be if he was treated like the dazzling top pick he is. He's excelling right now and getting zero reward for it. It's inexcusable.

the fact that galchenyuk got less playing time then these other guys is wrong
