We've scored 6 goals in the past 6 games. We've scored 16 goals in the past 11 games. So look at that span. We have 1.45 goals per game over that time. 1.45 goals per game. Less in the past 6 games. Tell me how many NHL starters have a GAA of 1.45 or better. Tell me what Carey's GAA is right now.

Even if Carey were here, that doesn't fix the problem that we can't score. It doesn't solve the fact that we're playing a 4th liner on the first line, the 2nd line, and the 3rd line. It doesn't solve the problem that our 3rd line center and winger are playing more minutes than best player. This losing streak starts and ends with the team's ability to generate offence.

I get what your saying, but carey might bet the best goalie in the nhl at playing the puck. he is like an extra player on the ice moving the puck up the ice makes a diff . does it not, would explain the drop off in goals for

I agree fire the coach

Carey played most of our games the past two years and we were awful at scoring goals then too. This has very little to do with Carey, and frankly, if you rely on your goalie to generate offence, then it just reinforces the notion that your system or personnel deployment are suboptimal.
