kinot-1
IT'S TONITE OUR ON "FIRE HABS" TRAVERSE THE DANGEROUS ALLIGATOR ALLEY TO GO HEAD TO HEAD WITH THE FLORIDA 7:30 PM RDS, SNE, FS-F, TSN Radio 690 GOSSIP AND WORD OF MOUTH THE HABS The Montreal Canadiens are undefeated with Ben Scrivens in uniform. Pleks’s goal – his first at 5-on-5 in 32 games! – came off a sweet feed by P.K. Subban, who played a superb game in Tampa. P.K. logged 29:18 of ice time and looked fresh through 65 minutes. P.K. led the Canadiens with five shots – ALL of which were on goal! – and added four hits and three blocked shots.P.K. led the Canadiens with five shots – ALL of which were on goal! – and added four hits and three blocked shots. Goaltender Ben Scrivens, acquired Monday in a trade with the Edmonton Oilers for forward Zack Kassian, will start, coach Michel Therrien said. Rookie Mike Condon made 36 saves in a 4-3 shootout win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday. The victory, which ended Montreal's six-game losing streak, moved the Canadiens past the Panthers and back into first place in the Atlantic Division. "We've played a lot of good hockey and didn't get the results," Therrien said. "We were ready to play. It's nice to see the big smile and hear the music after the game. It was well-deserved." Scrivens has not played in the NHL this season but is 42-56-17 in 129 regular-season games over five seasons with the Oilers, Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs. He was 2-6-1 with a 3.47 goals-against average and .893 save percentage for Bakersfield of the American Hockey League this season. THE CATS The Panthers are 3-0 so far in this six-game homestand with three one-goal victories over Vancouver, Ottawa and Columbus. Montreal won four of five against the Panthers last year with four games being decided by a goal — three going to shootout. Florida, which came into Monday in first place in the division, goes into Tuesday’s meeting with Montreal riding a six-game winning streak with wins in 12 of its past 15 games. Scrivens, who went 2-7-1 for Edmonton’s AHL team in California, was expected to be in uniform Monday and could make his Montreal debut against the Panthers. “They started off hot and had some injuries but that is still a very skilled team,’’ Shawn Thornton said. “We know they are tough to deal with. We’ve been hot, but we’re not on top of the world. Montreal is very dangerous.’’ kinot-1's GDT Record, 9-4-

BigTed3
Don't underestimate Gerard Gallant. Good coach. He's the guy we should have hired in the first place. I think the Habs have their mojo back though, after last game, so I think the Habs will win in the end... 5-4.
