The Flyers have struggled in the first period all season, getting outscored, 34-15, in the opening 20 minutes of games. They have allowed the first goal in the last five games. Overall, they have surrendered the first goal in 23 of 37 games.

The Flyers, have just six wins in the 23 games in which opponents have scored first, compiling a 6-11-6 record.

As far as your concerned,,, you needn't show up on the forums. :PB)

At home the Flyers have had success against Montreal, going 7-0-1 dating back to Nov. 22, 2010.
The Flyers have recorded a goal on the power play in three of their last four games, going 3-for-15… Wayne Simmonds has points in two straight games, and four points (2g-2a) in his last four games… Shayne Gostisbehere has four goals and eight points in nine home games… Michal Neuvirth continues to lead the NHL in save percentage with a .937, ranking tops among 47 goaltenders who have played at least 640 minutes this season… The Canadiens have won 17 of their 22 games this year when scoring the first goal (17-4-1), and 18 of 22 wins against the Eastern Conference… Max Pacioretty leads the Canadiens in both goals (16) and points (31) and has goals in two straight games and points in his last three games… PK Subban has 27 points in 40 games, 26 of them are assists, which ranks third among all NHL defensemen.
