Ya know,,, 3 years ago (and I could go back further), in the GDTs, there were many of us that did the GDTs. Members like ,,,CRB, EHIW, Tessin, beaubie, WestCoastHabs, Forever_Habs10, were doing the GDTs, along with CRB, Clues, HRF, htl, myself and others. Many of those member have now left us for one reason or another. Since then, the number of members that are doing the GDTs have gone down so that now only Clues, habs_93 and myself are carrying the load. I'd like to encourage other members of our Habs family to do what you can to enlighten that load on the rest of us.
It would be very much appreciated if some members could do one GDT per month. You would be more involved, appreciated, and feel like you are contributing to the good of the forum.

As you see in the Jersey GDT tonight,,,,it doesn't have to be elaborate. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words as the old saying goes. Others are more then welcome to post lineup changes or any other stats they feel appropriate. A GDT can be as elaborate as you want or as simple as you wish.

We've been spoiled by the awesome productions of the past (and this year), and some might feel intimidated about making an attempt, but we assure you that's not the case. The goal is simply to allow as many members as possible to get involved.

As mentioned above,,,this month's calendar is pretty much full, however i'm certain any of the people that signed up would step aside if you have a favourite game in mind. Just ask.

In the past we've restricted the sign up to one game a month per member, unless some games went unclaimed. With the reduced pool of members to choose from, you can see that it's been pretty much a minority handling the games this year. Would be nice to see the old trend revived.

I used to be good for a few in previous seasons but I find this season I've been more focused on keeping the MN updated on a regular basis. Outside that and trying to regain my lost Cup, I haven't been very active really at all although I frequently read the comments and debates in other threads.

After I did a few GDTs and developed my own style, as it were, I found it useful to keep a copy of the html coding as a template so whenever I did sign up for a game, it was just a matter of tweaking that outline with the game specific info. Once I had that, it wasn't all that time consuming.

I'll take a look at the sign up and if anything's free, I'll chuck my hat in for one. If not, I'll make a point of getting on board for one next month.
