kinot-1
Cool. We're getting closer to outscoring our opponent 1-0 every game. That's the plan, right? You got it,,, rocket scientist.
RicochetII
amazingly plek-cant-ec and captain invisible generate squat with the extra man. after a night of invisiblity, i find my sense of shock rather diminished Lol, ! Don't think I really expected anything different, since the main problems remain the same. Peace for now Buddies!
Eyez
So we got our lucky/fluke goal out of the way.... should we really watch the rest ? I guess not ....
BigTed3
Scored more than 3 goals now just once in 21 games. 4-14 over our last 18 games. Worst record in the league over the past two months.
southernhabfan
There is not much room for error for the rest of the season. I mean the front office does not seem to think the problem lies behind the bench and perhaps also with some of the big names that have not done much as of late...very late. But you never know....may be Carey's return (he is going to return, right? Or is he looking to desert a sinking ship?) will inspire as I have been hoping..am hoping. Hope against hope. This team is sure looking like the team of two or three years ago...I hope not but then again...may be we will get a miracle. That is what it is going to take to salvage this season after the All_Star break..which I do no think many Habs will be playing in. Sermon over. lol

BigTed3
In the category of "you know it's bad when..." Guillaume Latendresse says the Habs looked slow and didn't do enough skating back on defence.

Worst record in the league over the past two months. So..were the first 9 games a real fluke? I do not know. Anyway..that team certainly has not shown up since then. I do not want to be so critical..it is only a game. Yet I love the team and want the best for them and for us...the true die-hard fans! PS. Is MB really that tone-deaf..fan deaf? He made a poor choice on keeping MT for this season....but then again this is only me saying it. He is/has been a good manager but...sigh

Eyez
So how many losses do we need NOW to make the fire MT-offs ?
Guest habs1952
Again, Eller can play wing or center, defense, PK. He can also move up or down the lineup. Desharnais can play center on the 3rd line. Which player should we keep? Oh man, your making me sad.
habs-24
Pushed the champs hard for the final 40 minutes but nothing is good enough these days
fnveenie
Galchenyuk, Eller and Andrighetto were our best line through the first 2 periods of the game. Galchenyuk was the best player on the ice. Naturally, the line is split up and Galchenyuk is put on DD's wing. Chucky finishes the game 3rd among centers in TOI. There is no logical explanation. Therrien is trolling us.
PuckPundit
Don't really see what Rene Angelil has to do with the Canadiens. Not even really a celebrity of any sorts, just married to one... did the Habs have a moment of silence when ex-player Domenic Moore's wife died? Nope. So why for Celine Dion's husband? Maybe Celine has booked the Bell Centre for a series of gigs in the pipeline. You know, $$$$ talks . i went from daring to dream about the cup to hoping we miss the playoffs because nothing less will rid us of coach T Haha, now I'm starting to empathize with how Leafs fan felt the past 3 seasons . You know, expecting to lose every game . But it's more galling considering how this team started the season. Just inexplicable meltdown and implosion. But to be honest, I'm surprised the Habs only lost by 1 goal. I was seriously expecting a blow out before the game started . So give some credit to the boys for salvaging some respectability against the champs.
Guest archey
My buddy just went from running an eatery next to a toy store and a pet store or two to inside the largest most modern gun range you can imagine. Well it's still food for thought but its a tad different. I have no idea if you guys are right to fire MT and I'm only here to remind everyone that it's just a game. jennifer_rocket
The problem is, games like this won't inspire MB to fire MT. The team actually performed okay! We created scoring opportunities. Games like this are completely on the players for their own ineptitude at putting the puck behind Crawford. And we've seen several games like this over the course of this putrid stretch of hockey. I'm no MT fan, but tonight is on the forwards. Learn how to score a goal.
